Our agency currently has 4 supported living homes. Each of the homes are staffed 24 hours a day/ 7 days a week. All residents attend Community Health Developmental Center Day Program. 11 Individuals live in our residential homes at this time. The Direct Support Staff assists with all daily living needs. Many residents do not have family members and CHDC staff care for them like family.
Our GOAL and MISSION at the developmental center is for our residents to achieve independence in every day life. We promote healing through inspiring hope and well-being of the whole person.
Through vocational training, we partner with organizations and businesses for sub-contracted work for our residents. Our residents are able to perform tasks and routines in the work force, and ultimately, our goal is that they achieve autonomy.
If you are a business that would like to partner with our developmental center for vocational training, please contact us today.
